Obligatory European destinations?
I’ll be passing through Europe in late June, early July, with no strict schedule. I’ve seen quite a bit of France almost nothing else in the ‘Rope.
Pray tell: where must I go?
This is less “what are some nice places to see and things to do?” and more “what is it a crying shame that I have not eyed in 22 years of eyesight?” Thoughts very much appreciated.
If you’re interested in stopping by Ireland, Newgrange is worth checking out; it’s the only place where you can stand in darkness inside a structure over 5,000 years old! There’s also Christ Church Cathedral, the Blarney Stone, and lots of old castles dotted around the country, among other things.
Oh, and there’s, er, a big pointy thing.
